Parent Survey 2016
As part of our parental engagement strategy, each year we offer the opportunity for all parents and carers to share their views with us through our annual Parent Survey. We believe the relationship between home and school plays a key role in providing a truly excellent educational experience for our students; your opinions are vital to us when establishing our school improvement priorities.
Thank you to parents who completed the survey ... we beat last year's total with 476 completed returns.
As well as publishing the results of the survey on our website we will also share the outcome with you in our January update letter. In addition there will be a Parent Leadership Group Meeting to review the results in detail and discuss the key actions we intend implementing as a result of the survey. The meeting will take place on 1 February 2017 from 18:00 to 20:00. As with all our PLG meetings, attendance is open to every parent and carer. You can register to attend via the following link:

We thank you again for your support and look forward to sharing the results with you.

Timetable change to 410 service
SYPTE have approved a change to the 410 timetable AM only. Feedback from some parents and drivers stated that the bus was regularly late. Stagecoach have reviewed the vehicle tracking data and will implement a change from the end of April. Therefore, AM running times will change for pupils when they return after the May bank holiday.
This will mean that the bus will leave Dodworth Road six minutes earlier and will be a few minutes early all the way through to Thurgoland, but still arriving at PGS at the same time.
Kind Regards - Penistone Grammar School ALC (03/04/2017)
