Citizenship

Citizenship Studies is a fascinating subject which enables students to express their ideas and play a vocal part in society. We will study a range of political topics including human rights, crime and law. We also complete an Active Citizenship campaign which involves working on an issue you feel passionate about to make a positive change for our school or wider society. Citizenship enables students to develop an understanding of elements which make up society including our public services, political and legal systems. In this subject, you will apply learning to real-life scenarios on both a local and global scale. You will also learn the importance of working as a team to take part in group projects to bring about positive change.
