At Penistone we have a dedicated team for careers providing information, advice, and guidance (CEIAG). Our approach to careers underpins everything we do to prepare our students for success after their time at Penistone Grammar School.
As a school we follow the statutory guidance as set out in the DfE’s Careers guidance and access for education and training providers.
We regularly evaluate our provision against the eight Gatsby benchmark and have been used as a beacon of best practice in our work with the Cutler’s Programme.
Our RCS department also deliver careers as part of the curriculum, ensuring it is well covered both inside and outside the classroom.
