At Penistone Grammar School, we are incredibly proud of the wide-ranging trips, visits, and extra-curricular activities that took place last year. Across the school, there were 101 trips and visits organised - a significant increase on the year before - giving students opportunities to learn in real-world settings. From canoeing, climbing and ski trips, to cultural experiences at the Hepworth Gallery, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, and international visits to Amiens and Madrid, students benefited from an inspiring and varied enrichment programme.
Our extra-curricular clubs were equally diverse, with options ranging from sports teams, debate and coding clubs, to art, drama, music, and enterprise groups. Signature programmes such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award, Combined Cadet Force, and Performing Arts productions continued to flourish, while our house system united students through competitions, charity fundraising, and celebrations.
Looking ahead, we are excited to build on this success with an even more ambitious programme of trips, clubs, and opportunities for all students to enjoy this year. Please click here for details.
